Frequently Asked Questions

A full-service wedding planner is involved in every aspect of your wedding from the moment you're engaged to the moment you leave the reception. That means defining your vision, building your budget, curating your vendor team, managing contracts and communications, designing your aesthetic, building your timeline, and running your wedding day from start to finish. You're not just hiring someone to hold a clipboard — you're bringing on a strategic partner who handles everything so you can actually enjoy being a bride.

Full-service wedding planning in Nashville typically ranges from $4,500 to $15,000+, depending on the scope of your wedding, guest count, and level of customization. At Honey & Hive Events, our collections are designed for couples investing $45,000–$150,000+ in their wedding experience. We'll talk through what's right for you during your consultation.

If you want to be fully present — not managing vendors, fielding questions, or problem-solving on your wedding day — you need a planner, not just a coordinator. A day-of coordinator steps in at the end. A full-service planner builds the entire foundation so that by the time your wedding day arrives, everything runs effortlessly because it was planned that way.

Yes — and it's one of our specialties. Honey & Hive Events plans destination weddings in Italy, Mexico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and beyond. We handle every logistical detail remotely and on the ground, including venue sourcing, vendor coordination across time zones, travel and accommodation blocks, and legal requirements for international ceremonies. Your dream location is absolutely on the table.

The earlier, the better — especially for full-service planning. Most of our couples book 12–18 months out, and our most popular dates fill quickly. If you're newly engaged, your first call should be with your planner before you book anything else. Your planner helps you set the foundation every other decision is built on.

Honey & Hive Events is based in Nashville and Franklin, Tennessee, and serves couples locally and worldwide. We regularly plan weddings throughout Middle Tennessee and specialize in destination weddings internationally. If you can dream it, we can plan it — wherever it is.
